NORTHWESTERN GULF OF MEXICO

There are numerous named banks found across the continental shelf of the northwestern Gulf of Mexico. Many of these appear to be both biologically and geologically connected to the sanctuary. As a result, some of these are under consideration for sanctuary expansion as part of our Management Plan Review.
