8 World Oceans Day This annual Earth Day for Oceans began in June 2003. The 2012 theme is Youth: The Next Wave for Change. Encourage the youth you know to visit our Students web page and learn more about the sanctuary.

6-11 Down Under, Out Yonder Educator Workshop and Scuba Field Experience This 5-day workshop is designed to introduce educators to Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary, coral reef ecology, ocean conservation, and reef fish identification.
